Whole again!!
Luckily all the kings horses and all the kings men were unavailable today at Frenchay, which mean`t the surgeons were able to successfully replace Daves original piece of bone back into the hole in his head.Val has seen him this evening and he was smiling and pleased that this bit has been done,so far so good.Other good news is that he has already eaten!He has a drain in at the moment as a matter of course,so we wait and see what the next couple of days bring.

Christine and Jack from Oxford are delighted to hear the good news of Dave's continuing progress. I have just read all of the blogs and can see what a difficult time he has been through, and also how well he is doing. We too enjoyed his company and admired his cycling prowess in Nova Scotia. But what a way to celebrate a 60th birthday. I trust that more good times and more traditional birthday festivities lie ahead. If possible we hope to join the beginning bit of Roger's Lulworth Cove celebration, if it includes the Monday, but we don't have annual leave that week. Lol Christine and jack
